Doctor Dolittle Storyline

Doctor Dolittle is a world-renowned veterinarian who speaks a wide array of animal languages. He sets off from his home in Puddleby-on-the-Marsh, England, in search of the Great Pink Sea Snail. In so doing, he and his friends meet such exotic creatures as the Pushme-Pullyu and the Giant Moon Moth. This musical is the source of the hit song, "If I Could Talk To The Animals."

Doctor Dolittle goofs

CONT: During "talk with the animals" at night you can see no trees outside the window. When the sun comes up, a tree's leaves are clearly visible.
DATE: In the scene when Matthew Mugg is plotting the breakout of Dr Dolittle from jail, he says he is going to blow up the road with Dynamite. The opening scene states the movie is set in 1845, Dynamite was not invented until 1866.
FACT: "Sea Star Island" is a floating island that moves around, yet it has an active volcano on it. This is impossible since, to be active, a volcano must be connected to a source of magma.
FACT: In the scenes with the fox and her pups, the baby foxes are actually played by chihuahua and Pomeranian puppies.
CREW: Reflection in the water when the dolphin retrieves the doctor's hat.
