Righteous Kill trivia

In the first movie where 'Al Pacino' (qv) and 'Robert De Niro' (qv) starred together, _The Godfather: Part II (1974)_ (qv), they both played gangsters. In their second movie _Heat (1995)_ (qv), Pacino was a cop, and DeNiro was a gangster. In this, their third movie together, they are both cops.
SPOILER: In the previous movie where 'Al Pacino' (qv) and 'Robert De Niro' (qv) appeared together, _Heat (1995)_ (qv), it is 'Al Pacino' (qv) (as Lt. Vincent Hanna) who shoots down 'Robert De Niro' (qv) (playing Neil McCauley) in the final scene. In this movie, the roles change.
