First Knight Storyline

Lancelot lives by the sword. In fact, they're next door neighbours, so teaming up to fight for money comes pretty naturally. Lady Guinevere, on her way to marry King Arthur is ambushed by the evil Sir Malagant. Fortunately Lancelot is lurking nearby and he rescues his future queen. They fall in love, but Guinevere still fancies the idea of wearing a crown, so she honours her promise to Arthur. Can Lady Guinevere remain faithful, or will this Pretty Woman become a lady of the knight?

First Knight goofs

DATE: After running the gauntlet, when Arthur brings Lancelot inside to show him the Round Table, there is what appears to be a Phillips-head screw visible on the inside of the door they walk through.
CONT: SPOILER: Arthur's pyre smokes before it is lit by the flaming arrow.
CONT: Maligant still has his sword after Lancelot knocks it into the air.
FAKE: After Guinevere gets saved by Lancelot the first time she uses a small crossbow to shoot a guy trying to kiss her. She shoots the crossbow straight up into the guy's stomach, yet when the guy falls dead to the ground, the crossbow bolt is coming horizontal out of the guy's stomach instead of vertical as it should be.
DATE: When the horse is caught, there's an 17th/18th century stone bridge in the background.

'Julia Ormond' (qv) initially turned the part of Guinevere down, not finding her independent enough for her liking.
'Julia Ormond' (qv) had to miss filming for a few days when she had a severe ear infection that required hospitalization.
'Julia Ormond' (qv) was paid $350,000 for the film. Her two male co-stars' combined fee was $14 million.
Legendary production designer 'John Box' (qv) was fired from the film as his sets were deemed to be too expensive.
