Resident Evil Storyline

Something rotten is brewing beneath the industrial mecca known as Raccoon City. Unknown to its millions of residents, a huge underground bioengineering facility known as The Hive has accidentally unleashed the deadly and mutating T-virus, killing all of its employees. To contain the leak, the governing supercomputer, Red Queen, has sealed all entrances and exits. Now a team of highly-trained super commandos including Rain, Alice and Matt must race to penetrate The Hive in order to isolate the T-virus before it overwhelms humanity. To do so, they must get past the Red Queen's deadly defenses, face the flesh-eating undead employees, fight killer mutant dogs and battle The Licker, a genetically mutated savage beast whose strength increases with each of its slain victims.

Resident Evil goofs

CONT: In the first shot after entering the utility tunnels, the bandage on Rain's bitten hand is clearly missing. In the next shot, it's back on again.
CONT: In the utility tunnel, when the zombies reach through the mesh, the wires are not bent or broken to allow their arms through. When Alice's face is seen from the zombies' point of view through the mesh, you can see a neatly cut square hole.
FACT: In one of the early scenes, where a group of people is trapped in an elevator and they listen to another elevator dropping, there's a factual mistake in the shot portraying the fall of the second elevator. As the second elevator is falling, we can clearly see the counterweight rising, but when the elevator hits the ground and the wires snap, they just hang there. In a real life situation, the counterweight would've gone slamming towards the ground, pulling the wires along with it.
FAIR: While explaining the super virus (the basis of the plot), The Red Queen says that human hair and fingernails continue to grow after death. This is a common myth, but has no basis in reality. However, the Red Queen says it only applies to humans who have died but are infected.
CONT: Several of the zombie extras are used more than once in different scenes.
